Montana is the home of Riders in the Sky, Inc. - a full service dealership for powered parachutes.  Started in early 1995, Riders in the Sky has developed well over the last five years.  Now based at Skyrider Flightpark, with a developed field operation, Riders in the Sky is capable of complete instruction and flight training, with two AFIs for powered parachutes on staff.  Sporting a growing ultralight organization - Yellowstone Ultralights and Powered Parachutes (ASC Club # 011) - started by Riders in the Sky - the club uses the Skyrider Flightpark as its base of operation, with a network of statewide associations as well. Riders in the Sky and powered parachuting in general is growing in the Big Sky Country.

Riders in the Sky is now developing a regional and national marketing plan.  This plan will include the possibility of interested parties contacting Riders in the Sky to schedule dates to receive introductory flight training, advanced flight training, or other equipment sales or services, while visiting Montana for business or vacation purposes.

Operating out of Billings, Montana, Riders in the Sky, Inc.,  and its Helena affiliate, Western Montana Powered Parachutes, LLC, can offer their customers some of the greatest vacation opportunities of a lifetime, while developing a person's individual desire for flight.  With areas of interest including the Custer Battlefield, Yellowstone National Park, Glacier National Park, the National Bison Range, hiking, camping, mountain biking, canoeing, and white water rafting all within a one-day drive of their operation, Riders in the Sky believes this is a perfect opportunity for anyone who wants to learn to fly and include the family in a terrific once-in-a-lifetime vacation, all in one.  Customers can call and order a machine to be completely assembled for them upon their arrival - so that they can learn to fly in their own machine.  Or the customer could schedule dates to arrive for training with the machine to be shipped directly to their home.
