Guidelines for Visitors to the Flightpark

Non-flyers must stay out of the Runway/Flight Area:

Only pilots, students (passengers) and ground crew may go onto the flight area (the landing and takeoff area). All others must stay outside the perimeter road around the flight area.

Flight restrictions:

The Flightpark is 9 miles north of Billing Logan International Airport, which has a 10-mile control radius.  Therefore the Flightpark has a 1,400 AGL ceiling until you get north of the rimrocks north of the Flightpark.

Communications:

Standard communications at the Flightpark are by CB radio. CB frequency for the Flightpark is Channel 10.  Alternate frequency is Channel 2.

Maintenance of Flightpark:

Do not drive across the flight area - drive around its perimeter road.  You pack it in, you pack it out.  Please use, but do not abuse, what has been provided.

Children and Pets:  the Flightpark Is Dangerous for Children and Pets!

Small children must be under control at all times.   Pets must be on leash or confined.

Children cannot be left unattended at the Flightpark.  Do not bring children to the Flightpark unless you or someone you bring will be watching them at all times. Children on the tower or in the hangar must be accompanied by an adult.

No throwing games (ball, frisbee, etc.) are allowed at the Flightpark
